You don't. Apple Pay is only available for the iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

Passbook was on the iPhone 5 before the 6 and 6 Plus. You were able to add your credit cards to it. I guess they removed it.
Not true. You have never been able to add credit cards to any iPhone's passbook before the iPhone 6. You can add loyalty cards if the merchant supports that feature, but not credit cards.
That is incorrect... I had a credit card on my passbook with my 5s since I've had it... They removed this feature at some point because when I changed my credit card number and removed it, I was unable to add the new one....
