Need help with iPhone 5 C & how my text messages are linked!

I accidentally deleted my cell phone number on my iPhone 5 C & linked my text messages to my email address. How can I correct this & link them back to my cell number? Please send me the exact steps to correct this problem.

Tap on Settings
Tap on Messages
Tap on Send & Receive
Tap on your phone number
Tap on anything else that is checked that you do not want to receive messages to
Tap on your phone number under Start new conversions from
