i'm trying to find out at what resolution ipad photos taken on the iPad are stored at. When I send them to myself and choose the largest size possible on the email, they are only 72 dpi. I thought there was an option for 300 dpi?

Instead of e-mailing them off, have you tried to upload the photos using something like dropbox, take the e-mail and possible resizing it may do
Also, what version of iPad do you have? the iPad 2 has a very low megapixel compared to newer ipads.
I have a fourth generation iPad...I tried both email and direct download. The photos are largish - 26 inches in width but the dpi is 72. As far as I can tell, that' sustain how it is, I can't seem to find any solid info on it. Thanks for trying, I appreciate it
