Sync freezing on latest purchase

I have a Windows 8.1 computer running iTunes 12.1.1 trying to sync to an iPod Touch 2nd generation. It works just fine except on the last album I bought, which is still available in the iTunes store and everything. It freezes up about midway through syncing the album to my iPod and won’t do anything. I’ve tried restarting iTunes, restarting the computer, signing out of and back into my Apple account, deleting and redownloading the album. I have enough room on the iPod to add the album. I've tried unchecking that song and re-syncing, at which point the sync freezes on the next song. The album plays just fine in iTunes and Windows Media Player.
