Hi, How can I connect a W7 devise to the Time Capsule to view files?

It makes life easier to load the airport utility for windows.. that includes bonjour for windows.. which helps windows computers see apple shared resources.


AirPort Utility 5.6.1 for Windows


Then it is simple to open windows explorer and type into the address bar.


\\10.0.1.1


Or whatever the IP of the TC is.. pick this up from the airport utility.


You can use the name but unless your name is easy for windows to handle.. ie short, no spaces and pure alphanumeric, it is easier to handle the IP.


no luck you have network setup wrongly and you will need to make sure location is correct.. ie home, not work or public and you might also need to remove the firewall.
