Download is stuck in pause

Download is stuck in pause

I tried downloading a free game off of the mac app store and it was interrupted. Now it is permanently "stuck" in pause. I've tried going into the purchases to redownload (or delete it at this point), but it just says "waiting" and the pause button is greyed out so I can't press it. FYI everything else I've downloaded, I am able to "download" or "open." Can someone help me figure out how to get rid of this? At this point I would just like to delete the app since it was free. Thanks.

MacBook Air (13-inch Mid 2012), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. Based on what you stated, it sounds like an app download was interrupted and will not resume. I would recommend that you read this article, it may be able to help the issue.

I can't update the newest version of iPhoto...and I have a bunch of other apps that are stuck. Running the newest version of Yosemite (even though it says I need to download) on a MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Late 2013).
