Spotlight Search Gone From Mac

Hello Everyone!

I have run into this issue quite recently and have been unable to fix it.

It seems that my Spotlight Search Icon and spotlight Search in general has completely disappeared from my Macbook Pro.

I have been running Yosemite for a while but this just recently happened.

I tried sudo chmod 755 /System/Library/CoreServices/Search.bundle/Contents/MacOS/Search

This did nothing for me at all. I even reset the Utilities bar and everything.

Ive tried to repair permissions multiple times and nothing happens.

The only error i get from permissions is "Warning: SUID file “System/Library/CoreServices/RemoteManagement/ARDAgent.app/Contents/MacOS/ARDAg ent” has been modified and will not be repaired" but i do not believe this is the cause of the issue.

Does anyone have any Idea how to fix this because I would greatly appreciate spotlight back on my computer.

MacBook Pro, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
