Unlocking T-Mobile store bought iPhone 6

I bought my iPhone 6 at a T-Mobile Store and I was wondering if I paid off my EIP and unlocked it, would it be fully functional with AT&T?

iPhone 6, iOS 8.2

Only your carrier can unlock a phone so you have to ask T-Mobile. As you can imagine, there is nothing in it for them to unlock your iPhone, so they'll probably say you're out of luck.

T-Mobile USA will normally only unlock their iPhones after you have 40 days of service with them. It will be fully functional with AT&T.
