Controller Forwarding?

I have recently purchased a SteelSeries Stratus controller to play games on my iPhone and iPad. I had a little hope at the time I purchased it that it might be able to work with my mac as well, but according to the SteelSeries website it does not. I began to do some more digging online and noticed in the 2014 WWDC keynote a feature called "Controller Forwarding" was promised which would allow these MFi controllers to be used on a Mac through iOS8 and Yosemite. All that to say that I cannot find anything more about this feature and whether it even exists or not. Any information or instruction concerning this would be wonderful. Thanks so much.
