Can't create partition, partition options grayed out?
Hello all, I've been trying to create a partition using my startup disk but all the partition options are grayed out. I've been looking all over the internet for some answers and I thought I could use the Recovery HD to do a disk repair (I don't have a lot of knowledge with fixing this type of thing) but unfortunately the Recovery disk has been missing. It has been missing since I bought my mac from eBay. Do I need an external hard drive or the installer disc to fix this issue? Because I don't have either items at the moment. Helpful answers will be very much appreciated. Thanks. I'm using a Macbook white late 2006 running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5
