Some of my e-mails are going out of my outbox on my laptop, but others are not I do not know why. HELP!

A few days ago my mail stopped sending out of my outbox on my laptop. It is working fine on my phone and my iPad, but not on my laptop. I can receive mail but when I try to send it is only working every once in awhile.

MacBook Pro, iOS 8.1.3
