iTunes showing 1 unwatched when there is none
I have been having this problem for a while now, and I cannot seem to figure out where it came from, and how to get rid of it. This problem affects the film and TV programmes libraries.
Now matter how many new films or TV programmes there are, when I am done watching them all (until the very end, and everything stops by itself), iTunes still shows me that there is still one unwatched film and/or TV programme. No unwatched film or TV programme. Nothing showing up in the “unwatched” tab. Yet iTunes says that there is one unwatched film/TV programme. No idea why.
In order for iTunes to properly show that everything is watched, I have to:
1. Quit iTunes, and re-open iTunes, OR
2. Mark any one film/TV programme as “unwatched”, and then mark it as “watched,” OR
3. Add a new film/TV programme.
In option 1-2 : iTunes will obviously show that all films, and TV programmes have been watched after a restart.
In option 3 : iTunes will properly show the number of new films/TV programmes, and the new films/TV programmes will show up in the “Unwatched” tab.
I have tried :
1. Removing all the films/TV programmes, and adding them back.
2. Deleting the iTunes Library.ITL, and rebuilding it with the iTunes Library.XML
Still having the problem. Any one of you encountered this? Is it because I have too many films or TV programmes (I don’t think so)?
The next time, I suppose would be to completely start anew, and lose all the playlists, play counts, ratings, etc.
What’s your take on this?
Cheers!
