itunes card not activated

Purchased the $30 pack of iTunes cards from Walgreen and tried to redeem them and none worked. I tried to contact the Apple support and next day went to Walgreen to check if they could be activated or not. After talking with the manager and trying the codes again with him reading them to me they still wouldn't work. So after the "48 " hours I was told to wait and still no response. I sent all the appropriate fields required for the pictures and codes.
