I did a clean install of Yosemite to an erased hard drive on our 2010 model MacBook Pro. Now iMovie, iPhoto & iBooks are missing. Where did they go?
How do I get them back? You have to pay for iMovie in the app store.

Neither iPhoto nor iMovie are part of the OS. So, as you wiped them from the disk you need to re-install them from source. Be sure to log into the App Store with the ID you used to set up the machine.
As for iBooks, ask on the Main using OS X forum for Yosemite.
Thanks Terence! I found iBooks. The other 2 apps I'll try to install from disc. I'll let you know if it works.
