Hi,


i want to buy a macbook pro retina 13'' and i want to know if i can use an external display with a normal hdmi cable without converters. I read that i can have some troubles due to the resolution of retina.

You can find the specs on the MacBook Pro page where it lists the capabilities of the HDMI connection:

  • Support for 1080p resolution at up to 60Hz
  • Support for 3840x2160 resolution at 30Hz
  • Support for 4096x2160 resolution at 24Hz
