iCloud and saved data

I'm in need of some help.

I purchased Final Fantasy IV via the app store at the weekend. It's a great game that installed without any issues on to my iPhone 5 and iPad 3rd Gen.

My problem comes when saving to the cloud.

There is an option on the main title screen to save to the cloud then pick up your saved game on another device.

iCloud is active on both devices and the game recognises that data is being saved to the cloud but I can't view the saved data on the other device or see it stored in iCloud on the device the game has been saved on.

I'm going through a lot of troubleshooting to see what the problem is.

Has anyone had this problem before? Is there something daft that I'm doing?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
