I am using Logic Express on my 6 year old iMac....running OS X 10.9.5....when I connect my Roland FA-08, Roland Blues Cube Artist ( new latest model ) or Boss Dr-880 to my iMac via USB, the audio level going into Logic is too low and only just registers on the individual channel strip. I have installed all the latest drivers from Roland and tried different USB leads and input sockets and the problem is always there....and always has been as far as I can see.
As there is no way of increasing a signal level input within Logic itself, the external device has that responsibility, this means that it is very difficult to proceed with recording in this way....has anyone else any experience of this type of issue please? I'm stuck!....
