IMac won't turn on

My iMac doesn't turn on after the power was cut. my wall outlet was also broken. what are the extent of the damages?

iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10)

It's possible that the Mac may not be damaged. Sometimes an SMC reset can help:

I'm guessing that you've checked the fuse in the plug is OK and have also tried connecting the Mac to another wall socket?

If the iMac is connected to a working wall outlet and does not start it may be that your powerbloc inside the iMac is defect.

When it does not start you need a repair.

When it starts do a PRAM reset to be sure:
