Report spam posts
As a level 2 user I supposedly have the option to report a post. This forum seems to be flooded with spam but I cannot find the option to report the offending posts?

It appears I can only report replies.
If it does not offer a Report Spam option (in big letters) Click on the action icon and do it from the drop down menu.
EDIT. I don't think you can report your own post.
While viewing the offending post, tap the "Actions" (gear icon) from the top right side, then select "Report".
Under the Actions gear wheel to the top right of the post. It will say Report Post. Although I think they are well aware of the situation, just battling to contain a mass spam attack.

Thanks everyone for the quick responses. For some reason, I never noticed that cogwheel.
Yes this is very annoying and the user seems to keep creating new Apple IDs just to advertise his "LaK88.com". It's a pain to have to keep reporting these.

They just started on the iPhone page as well ðŸ˜
Knocking them out as fast as we can. Sorry about this.
Great! 🙂
Thanks. They are appearing faster than I can report. It would help if we could block(hide)/report as SPAM similar to the system implemented on Twitter. It would also be great if we could report a user & not just a post since there are several posts coming from the same users. Just an idea.

Zack can correct me if I'm wrong but, when you see a batch of the same type of spam, report one item and note in the comments that there are multiple iterations. Reporting every single one just floods the Hosts with spam reports.
Specifically if it's the same username, no need to report multiples. We'll remove all posts by that user when we ban. Thanks!
I do as Meg suggested, report one post but note in the comments that there are several others in the particular forum.

Your team does a great job, Zack. It must be incredibly frustrating some times. Happy to do whatever I can to make it easier.
