I have a problem....
When I export a video from fcpx, and when I start to visualize this video, The tittle and the creator's name appear.
I have to select a name for the title but even when I suppress the creator's name (just before exportation) , this name -my name - appears at the beginning.
I hope I'm clear, my english is not perfect; apologize...

By beginning, I assume you mean the file info. If you don't want your name associated with it, enter something else in the Creator field.

Actually I let the space empty in the Creator field...
Despite this, my name appears at the beginning when I start the video...
???....
Type something else in the field – say, a period.
What Share option are you using? What app are you using to open the exported files?

VLC reads the name that you give the project – regardless of what you name it at export.So change the name of the project, However,I don't see the creator part at the beginning. of VLC playback.
Perhaps post a screen shot.

To make a screen shot, hold down Shift+Command-4 and draw marquee to select the image, That screen shot will be saved to your Desktop as a png. In the message box tool bar, click on the camera icon and navigate to the image.

Actually I have a query along these lines.
FCPX auto-completes the 'Creator' field with my name each and every time and very often I don't want my name in the field. My query is whether there is any way of stopping FCPX from auto-completing this information. I was hoping there might be a way via Preferences but this doesn't appear to be the case.
Can anyone help please?
PProject properties Share inspector You can remove the creator name token. There's no preference for this. It has to be done for each project.
