continuous play for podcasts stopped happening

I used to be able to play my podcasts continuously from anywhere I wanted to start in "my episodes". Now the continuous play only works if the podcasts are new or listed as unplayed. This is annoying. When I set something to play I want it to play. I don't want to have to stop what I'm doing every 30 minutes to make the next episode play. What the heck happened?
