How to turn off panning hand?
How can I turn off the Hand that pops up instead of the pointer (cursor)? I have a MacBook Air and this just started happening and I can't find a way to get it to stop.

Hello HappyHart,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
The hand with the pointing index finger indicates your are putting a cursor over a link. To learn more about different cursors used in OS X, take a look at the article below.

Thanks for trying to help! I understand the hand should show up to indicate a link, but on my computer it is showing up when it is not supposed to. For instance I am in Ebay trying to edit a listing, and when I try to click on "Add or remove options" (or any options on the edit page) the hand shows up when I try to click on it, and consequently nothing happens: I can't edit my listing because the hand is there instead of a pointer. So that is my problem - I want to get rid of it so I can edit my listing. Can you tell me how to disable the hand?
