OSX Maverick Gray Screen at Wake Up
Hi,
I think I have asked this question before and gotten the right answer. Somehow I am not able to find that discussion anymore.
Without any changes, my MBP has started to act like it has hibernated. If I have the lid closed up for many hours (overnight) and when I open it back again, the screen is ghost-like for a few seconds and the system gradually comes up. At times the computer is very slow at the beginning and way after the commands and programs are available again.
The last time I had posted this I think the resolution was something about changing the power saving. And I have checked the power saving and the computer is scheduled never to go to sleep - on external or battery power.
As I said, this has just started happening a couple of days ago and nothing has changed about the computer, its software, or settings. The only strange thing is that it started when I travelled to another state for vacation. I know this is strange, but that is the only event.
Any thoughts is appreciated.
