I've chipped a piece of a CD off in my iMac's CD drive. It was working fine for a day after that accepting and ejecting CD's now it won't accept CD's. Any advice?

Nothing short of trying to hold it with the slot down (power off first!) and shaking it gently - next step is the Genius Bar.
It's just possible that this trick with an L-shaped piece of cardboard may work. It's worked for users who've inadvertently put an SD card in the slot. Depending on how big the picee of CD is, it may work for you. Best to turn off and unplug the Mac before trying it:
