Why is there no default calculator app on the iPad? It's like not getting the Earpods with it either. Please make the next revision of iOS 8 for the iPad have the Calculator app stock.

No, you will have to find and download a third-party calculator app from the App Store.
As far as I know Apple (we are fellow users here on these forums) haven't said why they haven't included it in iOS for iPads. I you want to leave feedback for Apple : http://www.apple.com/feedback/ipad.html

Calculator Pro is a good approximation of the calculator built into iOS for Phones, plus is compatible with Notification Center widgets (meaning it is fully functional from Notification Center).
Where is the Calculator app on the iPad??
