getting more sounds for alerts on my new macbook pro

I'm trying to find more or different sounds that is provided for my mail and other alerts than what is provided on my new macbook pro. I used to have something that was a better alert on my old computer than what I have now. I would like more options.

MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Then copy your old ones to the computer and use them as you did before. Note, that not all sounds can be changed.
