Can't access Apple Support using Safari

Okay, this is interesting. I'm in Firefox at the moment because when I attempt to use "search" in Apple support it spins and shows me "search." I cannot reply to a thread I wanted to regarding the fraudulent website message I'm getting from the Safari browser stating that it isn't available.
Is there something squirrelly with Safari today? (It's March 31st).
