I have set my Input as the usb microphone, and have tried the output as Built in output & system settings but no luck! I need to be able to monitor while using my microphone. It sounds so simple, it can't be this complicated?

I can't seem to monitor my USB Microphone using Logic X Pro on my macbook. I have a USB Microphone (without headphone slot built in) and would like to be able to monitor my microphone whilst I'm in Logic.
