Apple Bluetooth mouse *constantly* losing connection!

Any clue about this problem? Mouse has a battery level of 75%, but this happened when it was in the high 80s. Mouse is never more than 6" from Mac Book Pro as I am mousing, and I am constantly losing the connection. Comes right back, but the constant loss of connection is very disruptive. I'd be better off simply net even using this device.
