I have a 2014 Murano and cannot pair my new iPhone 6 with the bluetooth audio of the car. The phone is connected and works very well but I cannot get the music to connect. I've been through everything with Apple including wiping the device, networks resets everything they have recommended and I cannot get it to connect. Any thoughts?

Check with Dealer to understand if other users have issues with an iPhone 6 or whether there is an update to vehicle software
I did thank you. It would appear that my new car isn't compatible with iPhone 6 and I have to wait for an update from Apple. Should have checked before I upgraded the phone...ughðŸ˜
Glad I didn't buy a Murano. Works fine with my phone and both Apple and BMW use standard Bluetooth protocols so I wouldn't look for any update from Apple.

I can't answer for a Murano, but in my Prius I had to go to the Settings screen in the car (not on the phone), tap on the BlueTooth connection to the phone, and I got a menu of available features. Music was disabled, so I tapped it and music has worked since.

same here I have a 2013 X1 and an 07 Z4 both work fine with the iPhone 6 without any intervention both paired immediately
Thanks, I sent filled out the form. However I have no regrets with my Murano..it's my second one...love love love it. So I have to plug the audio in, not that big a deal in the grand scheme of things. Phone works and that's what's important.
You might want to ask around about your BT problem, it may be a Nissan issue. I know my friend has no issues at all with her Infiniti.
So, the last update to the iOS appears to have helped the issue. However, I had to connect the phone, Then connect the Bluetooth audio. Both work now! Finally! My car shows 2 devices are connected but whatever, it works! Thanks for all the suggestions out there!
If you are connecting for both handsfree phone operation and playing music it should show 2 connections.
It didn't before But it doesn't matter. Works now!
New IPhone 6. No problem pairing it in the E Class Merc. Old Iphone 5 shows as second device. Simple to delete it once new phoned is paired.
Okay... So I have a 2013 Nissan Murano and for some reason my husbands iPhone will connect to the car using the USB cable but when I connect mine it doesn't work. Any ideas of how I can fix this?
I am so glad I have read this thread regarding iPhone 6 and car stereo/navigation. I just bought a new Honda HRV and my iPhone 5 works OK but I was just about to buy all the connections and download the Honda navigation system and update my phone to the iPhone 6 Plus. I will now wait and see what happens. Thanks so much.
I am having the same problem. I have a iphone 6s and a 2013 nissan rogue. I have connected my phone to bluetooth, but it will not play my music without it being connected by the audio jack. I would like to hear music and phine calls through my bluetooth ( without audio jack connection). How was you able to fix this?
