My iPod won't turn on. I had the battery fully charged but when I tried to turn it on it wouldn't turn on. So I thought it was dead and so I put it in the charger and it's been charging for 2 1/2 hours and it still won't turn on.

Description is in the question. Sorry

Try holding down the home and power buttons until you see the Apple logo appear.

Try the remaining items of:

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on

- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

- Try another cable

- Try on another computer

- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.
