Can I block an entire area code?

Question

Can I block an entire area code?

I am getting slammed by spam calls from area code (876). Same guy, same spiel, different phone number each time but always (876) area code. I hope there is a solution!

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.2

No, you cannot block an entire area code. Contact your cellular provider to see if there is any assistance it can provide.

Obviously the carriers would not like area code blocking and Apple needs the carriers to sell their phones.

Maybe I am wrong and this will changed.

No - it will not change because blocking an entire area code is impractical, and possible against FCC regulations.
