My event with FCPX and project is not appearing in final cut yet is still in the library on my hard drive when I "show package contents" how do I open my project back up?
iMac (21.5-inch Mid 2011), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)
CCould you post a screen shot of the package contents and of the FCP library?
Here are my events within Final Cut
And here are the "contents" of my folders within the "bees1" Library
A message popped up while I was editing saying my drive was almost full so I deleted files unrelated to the project or event I was working on this ended up happening. It is not the first time this happened.

Were the files you deleted inside the library bundle?

WWhat did you delete? There are a number of events missing from the library. Did you take things out of the library package?
The files I deleted where not in the Library but the root of the hard drive

Could be really bad news. Usually indicates severe damage to the files or to the media the files are stored on.
The event-journal file is not usually found in a normal event folder.
A quick search about the file found a post on another forum where the user fixed his problem by dragging it out of the event/library. But I have never tried that.
Do you have backups of this library?

I'm calling this a loss, again and moving to adobe premiere now. This keeps happening with FCPX with no solutions, I guess I'll follow the wave of editors now and follow suit. Project was almost done and due today :/

Oh, don't throw in the towel just yet. You first posted less than an hour ago. Backup libraries should exist for this library. The default location is Movies/Final Cut Backups. Find a version dated before the problem. Double-click to open.
