23.98 fps / 24 fps in same project

I'm cutting a project that was shot with a number of cameras.

Sony EX3 HD - 23.98 fps

Panasonic GH4 - 24 fps (4K)

The export out will be HD.

So far I've been cutting each format separately ... each scene shot by a specific camera.

When I want to marry them to export to a master ... I'm wondering if I just set my timeline to 24 fps, whether I will have issues with the stuff shot at 23.98 fps?

Or whether it will be necessary to convert the 23.98 fps first, using Compressor. Though I can't imagine doing this, as I'd have to do it in scenes, no time to do it shot by shot.

All ears,

Ben
