my powerbook g4 connects to amazon,ebay but not yahoo??
i can connect to sites like amazon,ebay etc., but can't connect to yahoo??

I suspect that is because Yahoo wants a newer browser thatn can run on the average Powerbook. There were a number of reports a few month back of people locked out of Yahoo because Yahoo declared their browsers were too old.
Your best option is to get the TenFourFox browser. I use it exclusively on our surviving G4 Macs. Web sites recognize it as a supported version of FireFox. Downside: the last version of TenFourFox that supported plug-ins was v17 and they are well beyond that, so that means no Flash videos.
