Is there a way I can unlock my iPod Touch that has a broken screen?

My iPod Touch, 4th Gen. iPod's screen broke and I need to access all the music and photos I have on it. But I received a new computer so it doesn't recognize my iPod and my iPod is locked. Since I still know the password, is there a way I can unlock it without restoring it or anything?

iPod touch, iOS 6.1.2

No since that is part of the screen lock security feature.

You may be able to get some info off the iPod after placing it in Recovery mode and restore via iTunes by:

You can redownload most iTunes purchases by:

Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
