How to connect outlook to MAC

so ever since i updated to OS X Yosemite i have been unable to easily connect my outlook account to my mac through the internet account settings because there is no option for outlook.com setup but it is on iOS 8. i was wandering if anyone else has this problem because i would like to set it up like i can on my iPhone with sync services to calendar, mail, notes, and contacts but i can not. is this a bug and might apple fix this soon, any help would be great?
