The magnetic timeline got taller

The audio is now spaced out from the video - as you see the audio pins are stretched out for no reason. Typically, as always, the audio clips is butted up right underneath the video clips. I must've hit a command on my keyboard by accident, but I can't figure out what command to undo this action.

Can you recall what you were doing at the time of this "spacing out" issue?


From the FCP X menu try View>Collapse all clips.

However it looks like you have Broken apart All Clip Items:

You would have had to have the whole Timeline selected to get this to happen on all clips.


Not sure how to reverse this action easily.

Just leave it alone is one option.

Or go to the Backups folder and grab one that pre-dates the issue.
