How to locate previews

HI

my my wife did something weird and has lost original files to several projects. Time machine cannot help. So, at the moment she can still see the preview images and even open on a 27 inch imac the photos seem not to bad.

AS the originals are gone the only thing we can do is locate these preview file and import them as original jPegs. However, opening the Aperture package reveals so many folders inside folders it would take forever just to find a single file.

any ideas how to find them in a relatively quick way?

cheers

You can easily export the previews by simply dragging the thumbnails from Aperture's browser to a folder on the Desktop. This way, you can select all images in a project at once and export all to the same folder.

In the Aperture library package are the previews stored in the Previews folder, but split into subfolders by the year, month, day of the Import Session, not the year, month, day of the capture date.
