My Mac won't find my USB

I put my usb into my computer and my computer won't show it in finder or in disk utility. I connected my hard drive and it works fine. My USB costs $127 so I don't wan't to replace it.

Please Help Me!!!

Test it on all USB ports and another computer. If it does not show in Disk Utility, that often indicates that the device is faulty.

Ciao.

Also try it on a powered hub. It may require more power than the MBP can supply.
