Apr 1, 2015 5:45 AM in response to Angus.lovedayby Loner T,You can test with Virtualization engines like VMware Fusion. Parallels or VirtualBox. These do not have native access to hardware, so may be slow and laggy.
You can also look for used/refurbished Macs or Windows PCs to see if they can help. If mobility is not a requirement, consider a desktop system as an option.

Dec 6, 2015 2:01 AM in response to Angus.lovedayby andy54321,I have the same Mac configuration as you and I was able to update to both Windows 8.1 and 10 just fine. If you install either Windows 8.1 or 10 and are having problems installing the drivers, try running the BootCamp installer in compatibility mode.
