My iphone 4s is unresponsive but still rings and vibrates how can i get my data off it?

I dropped my iphone and the screen went blank, i need to get all of my information off it to be able to send it off for repair, but i cannot find out how to do it without unlocking the screen, which i cant do because the screen is blank and the touch is not responding. however the volume still works eg. it rings and alarms go off but can not for the life of me get the pictures off 😟 help please!
