Facetime quality on imac is very poor compared to MB air!?

Hi,

I just purchased an iMac 27" Retina, and are in general happy with it.

However, there seem to be an issue with the Facetime camera. - The pictures and videos are not focused, and "washed out". I did a one to one test with my MB air, which showed a significant difference.

Further, I went to the local retailer (not an Apple Store) and compared the iMac they had in the store with their MB and MB air, and samething here - the pictures simply look so much nice on the laptops. The guys working there was astonished by this and had no idea of what is causing and asked me to contact you.

Can you please help me out - I have taken several of pictures with from the same viewing angle and lighting which I can send you for comparison purposes.
