How to accept an invitation from outlook with my iphone

If I receive an invitation created with outlook on my iPhone I just get an email with the .ics and I can put it in my calender. But the sender does not receive a message about it. So the sender does not know if I acceptet or declined the meeting.

Is there anything to solve this problem?
