Why is my iPhone 5 not ringing using its designated ringtone

HI

i have an iPhone 5 and have a designated ring tone for phone calls. Recently it has stopped ringing the ringtone and instead it sounds like FaceTime.

Basically when my phone rings it doesn't ring that ringtone but instead it rings like FaceTime instead. It doesn't ring my iPad or any other device.

I've checked the sounds and it has my ring tone, it doesn't have a toggle for intercellular.

Can anyone help me please cos it is rather annoying?!

thank you

iPhone 5s, iOS 8.1.3
