Hi, I work at a school ware I have 70 student iPads. Of the 70 there's 40 that are iPad Air, and 30 that are 4th Gen. My question is is there a way that I can link all of them together so I can turn on/off with out having to finically touching them. If not could I open a specific application on all the iPads with out having to each one and activating it. Any help would be great thank you. If you need more information let me know.
With that many iPads, you likely have an Enterprise / Educational Apple Rep. If so, asking that person for assistance is a good way to get advice straight from the Apple's Core 😉

Using iOS, you cannot install anything that isn't from the app store unless the device was jailbroken.
I also work for a school district. Our teachers use Casper Focus to launch apps on their classroom set of iPads. It works great! I am not aware of a way to mass turn on/off though...

MDM's run on Macs PCs and web servers. That means that they do not need to be in an the App Store, hence Caveat Emptor.

My post was referring to a regular app which is what the OP originally asked for and I (possibly wrongly) assumed CCC was referring to ("purchasing from other places than the iTunes App Store"), not mobile device management.
with due respect, the OP and my first post were clear as to what was needed and links provided = MDM - the Caveat Emptor was meant to convey "be careful" only.
