hi, i was wondering how to use the new photo app/library on icloud
what happens when i optimize the storage on either os 10.10 or ios 8.2+?
the original is stored in the cloud, but what happens if i email the thumbnail i have on my phone to somebody
will they get the original size?

Photos are optimised as space is needed on your device.
If you use a photo, the original is downloaded (if necessary), so if you send it by email the recipient will receive the full resolution (assuming you opt to include a full size photo).

how do i "opt in"
but so if i send a sms/iMessage, email etc the recipient will receive the full version?
