iCloud Drive saying not enough storage but I have nearly 190GB unused!??

When I try to copy a file to iCloud Drive I am told I don't have enough storage but I am only using 190GB of my 200GB allowance? I have transferred files with no problems earlier today so why is this happening all of a sudden? Any ideas?
