Songs on iPhone won't play on iCloud

When my wife tries to play songs on her iPhone 6 directly from the iCloud, the songs in an album will quickly cycle through and not play. If she downloads a song, it will play. If she only has one song in the iCloud from an artist's album, it will play. But if there is more than one song in the album and the songs are still on the iCloud, she tries to play a song and it just skips through all of the songs on the album without playing any. We share an iTunes account and iCloud account and my 5c works just fine. Anybody have an idea?
