FCP Slate Numbers

FCP Slate Numbers

When FCP first opens it displays a slate reading timecode numbers 4:24:48:29 I know it means hours:minutes:seconds:frames but why did FCP people put thoose numbers on the slate. Does it have a reason(meaning) or it is possily just random numbers. I really would like to now because it bothers me so much, everytime i open the program.

power mac g5, Mac OS X (10.4.7)

THAT bothers you? Wow...

No one really knows...except for Bruce. And who knows when he will show up or even tell us what this means.

Would it bother you if they were just random numbers?

The way I heard it: When that decision was being made, Bruce was under the influence of wacky weed (hey, it was growing wild in the field, man) and doesn't remember a thing.

When I launch Motion 2, it always says Motion Upgrade?

And the Motion is in darker text that the upgrade

Why is that?

It's annoying. Why are they doing that?

those that know can't say (NDAs and all) and those that don't know ... well ... they don't know.

If they were 4:8:15:16:23:42 we would be LOST and in big trouble.
